Dragonball the reason I became obsessed with MangaBut no matter how I searched, I couldn't really find it, or I could find it, but only the dubs and I really wanted to have the subs... It's watchable but the subs are much better than the dubs...
If anybody got the subbed Dragonball-series, or know where I can get them, pleaase tell me!
Dragonball got me hooked onto manga, though I didn't know about the anime before much later... This was long before broadband was a regular in homes, it would have been impossible for me to watch that anyway... -.-' And they didn't send it on TV in my country... at least I didn't find it in the programs... The only things they sent was like pokemon and digimon, wich I watched.
I know there's more, but I didn't watch it, because it was during the phase when all kids are supposed to "stop" watching cartoons... You know what I mean...
Anyway, I got hooked onto the Dragonball manga, and I thought that it saw going slow, you know one book a month. So I decidet I should maybe search the internett to find the rest... Remember this is before broadband, so we had a dial-up line, it like 56k, maybe not even that...
When I searched the net I found the Naruto manga, I decided to read it. Downloading each chapter took really long, remember, I was on a slow dial-up line. I took me about 20-30 mins just to get one chapter and I really wasn't allowed to be on the net for more that 30 mins a day...
Eventually I got broadband much later, later than all of my friends, just because daddy said it wasn't necessary... He changed his mind later though, it was around that time I really became obsessed with manga. It didn't take long before I found out about anime too. ^-^
